1969 Mercury Cougar Barn Find Additional Info:

This is a vehicle that I purchased at an estate auctio, so that I might find a good home for it . It has original 351 Windsor 4V V-8 with FMX 3 speed automatic .It would be a great car to restor, floors and trunk are perfect . The only rust in car is what you can see rear quarter and both outer rear wheel wells need a little attention. The gentlemen that owned this car collected a ton of parts too much to list all .It has 2 rear deck lid, driver doo, another racing mirro, center of grill, rear tail light assembl, complete black interior and dash minus one sea, carpet and headliner . Its a pickup load of parts . The car has had fuel system cleane, carb rebuil, plugs,wires and brakes all around with disc in front and new tires . They did change manifold and needs a tech to look at power brake, I dont think the lines are correc, cause the power is not working on brakes . The engine runs very strong and trans works great . The car was originally white with red interio, there was only 363 with these paint and trim codes which I have the Marti Report on this car that you may request a copy . The lights work great but will need rubber lines replaced after 3 days the light covers pop open till you start the ca, then they close again and stay closed while driving . I'm not a Mercury aficionado but only info I could find on chrome rocker panels said they might be off a 428 eliminator or what was left at factory, but they sure look great .
