1962 Mercury Monterey Custom. It has 72,955 on the odometer. It has a 352 Marauder V8, with the "Multi-Drive-Merc-O-Matic" Automatic transmission. The color is Castilian Gold in color. You can see from the photos that the car is in pretty good condition. However it does need a water pump, new thermostat, new exhaust and a tuneup. The transmission needs new seals and adjustments. The transmission as most of you know is in reality the Ford Cruis-O-Matic . MAC auto parts has all parts needed to complete most everything that this car needs. Monterey and Galaxies are basically the same inside and underneath. I drove it home without issue when I bought it. However it turns over but won't start. I have a replacement piece of molding for the passenger side drip rail. There is a little rust... Not bad for 54 years though!!! All glass is good and regulators work flawlessly. Dash pad is in good condition, with only a small crack at the dash speaker. It also needs re-dyed. The whitewall tires are very near new.
