1963 Mercury Marauder Fastback Additional Info:
For sale is a 1963½ Mercury Marauder. This is Mercury’s body style developed alongside Ford’s Galaxie midyear fastback design change for NASCAR. All the mechanicals are interchangeable with a Galaxie 500.This particular car has a nice straight body, hich has just finished getting prepped and primered and is ready to go into the paint booth. All the trim and molding pieces are there. Car is complete and running nicely. Fresh carb and brakes.
The car needs a new windshield and the interior would benefit from new upholstery. Engine is the stock 4 barrel, 8 390. In addition, here is a second running 4 barrel, /4 cam 390, nd a complete running 428 that will come with the car only if the BUY IT NOW price is met.
The old black and orange California plates also come with the car.
This is a picture of Joe Weatherly racing a Marauder at Riverside in 1963. I was there watching him lumber thru the esses with his arm resting on the windowsill. Different times, or sure.

Deposit of $750 within 48 hours of auction end is non-refundable. Wire transfer to seller's bank is preferred payment method both for deposit and purchase. Full payment to be completed within 7 days of auction end. If purchaser is local, ash is acceptable within 48 hours for deposit and within 5 days for balance of full price.
Buyer is responsible for arranging both payment and method of shipping. Vehicle must be picked up/shipped within 14 days of purchase unless seller has agreed in writing to extend that time with buyer.
