1982 W460 GD300 SWB

1980 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Additional Info:

1982 W460 GD300 SWB 2.9 liter normally aspirated diesel with 4 speed non-overdrive transmission. Engine and transmission are flawless in operation. Mechanically perfect. Very tight steering and handling. Odometer reads 25, 000 km and this is probably accurate. I think this G mostly sat in Germany for 30 yrs. I have replaced the front skid plate; new Left rear side window; glow plugs, timer, relay and wiring harness; new battery; rebuilt front and rear lockers; new heavy duty shocks and springs from Viking Offroad; aftermarket rims and tires; aftermarket Recaro type seats.
Previous owner painted over areas of surface rust: see pics and ask questions. Fender flares are bolted on. Everything electrical works except the gas and temp. gauges. Heater blows super hot. No a/c. No stereo
