1973 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series Additional Info:
1973 Mercedes-Benz 450s, new tires &,new front & rear shocks, new brakes, fuel lines, engine mounts, drive shaft flex disc, muffler hangers & shifter bushings in 2013 (3000mi ago).New transmission at 150,000 mi have all receipts for this work, car passes smog no problem. The car has not been in an accident but has a rebuilt title due to a lien sale,I picked it up from my Porsche mechanic because the previous owner never picked it up after some repairs were done & the shop put a lien on the ca, the DMV in Nevada issues a rebuilt title on any titles obtained through a lien sale. The paint looks better in the pics than it actually is,there is checking in the paint on the trunk lid & some other areas where the paint surface has small cracks(cheap repaint many years ago) paint looks good from 10ft.Dash has cracks but they are covered by a dashmat, the driver side window needs a new regulator (the window motor is fine) I have the other sheepskin seat cover, just removed it so you could see condition of seats, the soft top is tan 3 years old & in good condition, there is no rust on the car anywhere.I got my Porsche back & it breaks my heart to have this car sitting outside being undriven.Everything on the car works including the AC,the front subframe bushings should be done at some point in my opinion but it is a good solid scruffy rustfree driver. You can have your choice of wheels if you dont like the white Ronal R9s or you can have both sets of wheels for an extra $200.
