1980 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Additional Info:

1980 Mercedes-Benz300GD Turbo Diesel. The truck was originally a 240GD and was converted to 300GD. This is a very nice unique good looking truck; G starts and drives really well but it does need some tune-up as brakes and new fluids due to sitting for over a year. I had driven it the other dayalmost all day and it is good driving car but to be safe is good to do some tune-up. The G has typical rustthe major ones are in the right side back panel and left side front fender. This is not aShowroom car. The car will need full restoration to be perfect. Please check the photos and ask questions. The interior is not too bad; the seat does not have any cracks and the dashboard is in good shape as well. The carpet it's not perfect. On the right side door panel is missing a speaker. Convertible roof is in good shape but only the zipper will have to be replaced or fixed; it gets stuck because it's old. The tires will need to be replaced the front ones are bad. The Speedometer and odometer are not working. I was told from the previous owner that the new engine has about 130,000 miles on it. Odometer is showing 96,837 not sure what is actual mileage. I have some service records that will go with the car. PPI are welcome no PPI after the auction end it.
