1984 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Additional Info:
This is a great running car and a comfortable safe car to drive. To someone who wants dependable, economical, low maintenance, and practical transportation, it's a steal at this price!! The engine, transmission, drive train, brakes, and body are in very good condition. The engine has been completely rebuilt and only has about 10,000 mi. since the engine was rebuilt. The transmission was rebuilt a few years ago and is in good shape. Both the engine and transmission have far more miles of life in them. The car starts and shuts off easily. The brake master cylinder has been recently replaced and the brake pads have lots of use left in them. This car has been very well maintained, and the oil and oil filter changed frequently. Many other parts of the car, such as steering rodshave been replaced. The suspension in the rear is moderately stiff and the rear is bouncy. The engine, drive train, mechanical functioning, and body of the car are in good working condition. The car has a valid inspection sticker good for another year. The car's needs are in the "peripherals" such as air conditioning, radio, door gaskets that leak in power wash, and a stain on on the carpet in the back near the hatch. There is a small dent on top of hood caused by a falling tree branch. The rubber filler on side of front bumper needs replacing. There's a spot on the hood and on the side where the paint had a bubble that peeled. However the car still looks very good, I frequently get compliments on it. I Love this car and would feel completely confident getting in it right now and driving coast to coast.
