1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 380 SEL Additional Info:
Up for auction is My extremely nice 1985 Mercedes Benz 380 SEL. I have to make some room in the 6 car garage for another Mustang.Black with light cream colored interiorV8 gas engine136,000 miles or close to it.The car starts runs and drives very well. The paint I believe is original and is still very shiny! (no fade,no clear coat problems)The body is rust free with the exception of a little scale around the jack hole on the bottom of the rocker panels.Just around the hole onlyNo dents in the bodyThe interior is immaculate with no tears or separation. The drivers side door panel at the top has a piece of tape over a cracked area.(Picture taken of the flaw)The original wood trim has separated from the dash in areas and needs to be re glued also the wood on the front of the ash tray.Everything electronic seems to work except the right front window switch or regulator motor. The dash board has some cracks from the sun and age.Over all the interior and exterior and the engine bay and trunk are EXTREMELY CLEAN and authentic to the car. The tires are BRAND NEW and have less then 75 miles on them since installed at the end of the winter. The right front window glass pane has a scuff or mark on it that wont come off when I cleaned it.It must be scratched in the glass. The drivers seat springs on the left side seem to collapse more when you sit down the the right side of the seat, probably weak springs.I am simply trying to remember and mention every little flaw I can think of for very picky people or if you wanted to bring it to Mercedes Benz car shows or something. Those are all minor and dont have to be fixed if your just going to use it as an every day transportation car.Feel free to call me and make an appointment to see the car in person before you bid and before the auction ends. If you need any more pictures I can text them or email them to you.The car is in Jonestown PA 17038 in a garage with other hobby/collector cars.I can show it to you almost any day any time.Charlie (717)813-4169thank yo, good luck bidding
