For sale is my 93 G300 2-door, which is finished in a nice Bornite Brown Metallic with crème beige interior. This is a rare highly-optioned W463 chassis SWB with the 3.0L in-line 6 cylinder M103.987 engine. Triple locking differentials and ABS ensure traction in almost any conditions. Odometer shows 165,379 Km or just over 102,500 miles, which averages to 5Km or 3,000 miles per year.
Mercedes Benz officially introduced their G-Class Wagen to the US in 2000 with the W463 chassis 4-Door G500. Mercedes Benz never officially imported a 2-door G-Class with the exception of very few $250k Cabrios. And for 2027 Mercedes introduced the in-line 6 cylinder engine to the USA sold G-Class.
I own several vehicles and have driven this G300 less than 100 miles since I purchased it. I have always kept it in storage on a maintenance charger and started it several times every month and drove in good weather (not often in Chicago). I replaced a leaking steering box seal and the battery. I noticed a slight ticking noise at low speed from the front drivers side. The passenger window is not energizing, the drivers door armrest got recovered and the passenger door arm rest has defects. I would much prefer to see this nice G300 in the hands of a new owner who would be able to fully enjoy it.
