This W186 Cabriolet D is now offered in Malibu CA with Karl Baisch fitted luggage and California registration. The Type 300 models were built on an X-shaped ovoid tubular chassis. Exterior equipment includes a tan soft top, fog lights, a driver-side mirror, and a bright grille, window trim, rocker trim, and bumpers. The 13″ steel wheels feature hubcaps with body-color accents and trim rings, and they are mounted with 215/75 BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial tires. The W186 models feature independent suspension up front with a swing axle out back and an electronically activated torsion-bar load-leveling adjustment controlled by a dashboard-mounted switch. The brake system consists of hydraulic drums all around. The cabin houses individual front and rear bench seats upholstered in green leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets.
