1983 Mercedes-Benz 300TD TDT Additional Info:

Solid diesel wagon. In daily use. I've had this great car for 8 years and it's been a project fixing it. Now it runs and drives pretty good. The interior is pretty bad and so is the exterior. But there is no rust. I have pointed out the largest dent on the whole car in the pictures. I drove it today - going 80 on the highway uphill no issues. I have put in lots of new and used parts. Brakes are very good. New lower balljoints, used steering box, new motormounts, new front bearings and rotors. Used tight power-steering pump. Replaced steering gear-box with tight used unit, so steering i good. AC doesn't work, the heater works but not correctly. Vacuum works. The tranny works pretty good when warmed up. Little soft between 2nd and 3rd before warm and a bit slow to engage - indicating wear. Engine seems strong. Moderate blow-by and no appreciable oil consumption. All glass is there. WIndows go up and down - one is stuck up in the back. New lifters for the rear door. New front tires, old in the back. 2024 AGM bettery. All lights and indicators work. Wipers front and rear work. Washer fluid hoses leak but the motors are OK. This is still a project car and the driver's seat is bad and the interior needs help - and the dash is cracked. Sunroof has been siliconed shut by previous owner and has no leaks. I'm guessing a few glow plugs are out amongst many other little things. The car is in one piece and can be driven anywhere.
