Texas Stored the last 20 years
Sold as a project even though the car runs and drives. This car has been in a local barn for the past 20 years. The fuel pump went out and it was put up in storage. We put new tires on it, winched it on a trailer and once we got it back to the shop, we got the car to fire up with a temp fix of installing a low volume electric fuel pump. We also had to install a temp start button as the ignition switch was not consistently working on the turn of the key. When a car sits for a very long-time switches can come and go or even fail. Our company builds classic cars and has never worked on a classic Mercedes; the car needs to be gone through before driven on the public road and would make a great start for the custom build. So yes, the engine sounds great and runs, yes it goes into gear and moves but that's all we can promise. Call Ron at 682-333-7433 with any questions. The worse part about the car physically is the cracked dash and rubber glass seals from the Texas heat.
