1989 Mercedes-Benz 420 Additional Info:

For sale is a 1989 Mercedes-Benz 420 SEL (W126), with a green with a tan leather interior, which has been partially restored mechanically, and cosmetically. The car runs and drives well and has been taken on several long-distance road trips.

Mechanical work completed:

-New struts, control arms, ball joints, and tie rods.

-New water pump, thermostat, and coolant.

-Rear main seal replaced

-New center support bearing and flex disc

-New motor and transmission mounts installed

-New wheels, tires, and brake pads/rotors. Front calipers replaced.

-Differential, belts, tune-up, and oil service completed.

-Front bumper chrome replaced (see photo)

-Becker Grand Prix radio was restored and upgraded with a Bluetooth module.

-2 keys

The paint is in good shape for its age but does have some spots that show wear. There are some dents and scratches, but the car still shows well. The interior is in good condition as well, but the wood trim is showing some wear. The car needs some additional work but would be a great rolling restoration project.

Additionally, I will include all spare parts, which include a new differential mount, and rear suspension linkages (to correct a rattle/squeaking sound).
