Up for sale is this beautiful green Mercedes-Benz 500-SEL. This car was imported new from Germany by an Indianapolis businessman, and has remained in the area ever since. The car was purchased by the current owner from the original owner, a friend of his, back in 2003 at 166k miles. Now showing 203,950 miles, this Mercedes has been adult owned and well maintained its entire life with detailed service records dating back to the 1991. The ride is smooth with no hiccups in the automatic transmission, and no slips or sputters from the engine. The car idles consistently and healthily at stop. All lights work as they should and the radio and other electronics are also factory functional. The AC blows cold and the heat is hot. It is noted that the rear passenger side window no longer rolls down. All other windows are working as they should. All four tires are in new condition with no cracking or uneven wear. The power steering is smooth and without leaks or noises. Notable repairs in the past have been a new radiator, new fuel pump, new timing chain and tensioner, a resealed power steering pump, new steering shock, new stock exhaust, new ball joint assembly, brakes, and more. All $15k+ of service records are available upon request. The paint on the car is a gorgeous subtle green with a tasteful pinstripe down each side. There is dark grey paneling around the entire base of the car that wraps from the bumpers around the sides. All of which is in great condition. There is one blemish on the rear passenger fender which is viewable in the photo gallery. The paint has a beautiful metallic flake noticeable in sunlight. The interior of the car is in good overall condition with wear on the drivers seat consistent with the age of the vehicle. The dash is immaculate with no cracks or scratches. All doors open and close with no issue or misalignment. The interior was converted to leather upon delivery to the original owner as he preferred leather over the standard cloth. There is virtually no rust under the car as it has been garaged its entire life. More than 100 additional photos are available upon request, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or offers. Overall this is a great example of a rare spec Mercedes-Benz.Thank youVIN- WDB12603712013095
