This 1975 Mercedes 450SL is a true survivor with only 3 owners the last since 1982 and only 73,570 original miles with history to support.Sold new at W.I. Simonson in Santa Monica she is a true California survivor completely rust and accident free and amazingly original paint that still shines. The car had a stint in Colorado but has been locally garage kept until recently and has had a big recommissioning service in the last 500 miles including brakes, tires, belts etc... the car drives great with good power and seamless shifting everything works except the A/C has not been charged. The paint is beautiful though there are a couple of dings that could be improvedthe chrome also shows very well. All four hubcaps are present. The interior is nothing short of amazing for a California car. It has had a dash cover and sheep skins on since being acquired in 1982 and the dash is perfect as are the real Leather seats, though the seats could use some restuffing. Carpets and door panels are all excellent.The options include factory central locking, tinted glass, electric antennae and a Becker Mexico that sounds fantastic. The original canvas top is in good shape, but the plastic windows need replacing.
