For sale is a 1st generation 1980 Mercedes 300GD.

Car has a factory 4 speed manual transmission and a 5 cylinder Diesel engine.

Engine and transmission are in great condition.

Car runs and drives great, only issues are cosmetic.

Maintenance I’ve done during ownership:

Replaced all 4 shock absorbers

Replaced all 4 springs

Replaced both front steering knuckles

Replaced radiator shield

Engine valve adjustment 2 times

Body has some rust in all the usual places and will need be restored at some point.

I’m selling the car as a perfectly drivable project.

Includes all of the interior trim pieces, including door panels, roof liner, and rear fold down seats.
