1973 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Additional Info:

This rare Euro-Spec Mercedes came factory equipped in Astra Silver over black leather, with a 4-speed manual transmission and powerful 3.5 Liter V8. Automotion Classics has completed a comprehensive restoration on this car and it has been driven approximately 500 miles since completion. The original working odometer shows 126,200KM (78,400 original Miles).

Work Completed since acquiring in 2019:

Full Strip & Re-paint in original Astral Silver(735G). Many body gaskets were replaced with OEM components at this time. Windows were adjusted & all mechanisms lubricated. Rust-Free body.

Refurbishment of the front seats with new leather covers & OEM seat pads throughout.

Rebuild of the manual transmission with genuine Mercedes Benz parts. Clutch & flywheel refurbishment and new Genuine clutch hydraulics at that time.

Timing chain & guides inspected (In excellent shape with no chain stretch). Valve Adjustment performed at 125,000km

Full tune-up using OEM components: Spark plugs, wires, ignition points, cap & rotor etc.

Cooling system flush & refurbishment with new cooling hoses, new thermostat, and auxiliary air valve serviced.

Oil & Filter change at 125,500km

This car is ready to drive and enjoy both mechanically and cosmetically. The soft top is in excellent condition and the original hard top is included with the sale. All lights, signals, horn, and radio work as they should.
