Here is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own this 1992 Mercedes Benz 400 E sedan with only 18,480 miles since new.Only 7655 Mercedes 400 E's were produced in 1992 a total of 22,802 . The car is a 2 owner car and truly is in Pristine condition. The car was originally sold in Fairbanks Alaska . It was owned by a pilot who had the car in his hangar and babied it along with his plane. From their he had moved to Hawaii where is was for 3 years. Then he sold it to another Pilot in Maryland where the car was from 2012-2016. Its never been in the Sun or bad weather. The pictures speak for itself. Its like Brand New from top to Bottom. The car was always serviced early in its Intervals and Needs nothing. The color of the car is RARE . It's called Nautical Blue and the paint looks like it did when new. Its spectacular . Very shiny and Glossy with no imperfections,dents or scratches. The grey leather interior is also pristine and looks like new with Zero wear anywhere in the car. The seats are super soft and supple and The drivers seat has a Rare option called Multi Contour seating. It has a balloon in the seat which allows you adjust the switch to give u pressure in your back and also a massage. Its amazing and still works like when new. Also the car has a factory phone which was expensive back then . Its still brand new. The plastic never has come off the phone. Lastly another Rare option of ASR was ordered on this car. It's traction control and won't let the car slip in rain or snow. Dual front airbags complete the safety of this beautiful 400 e. Inside you will find everything to be working properly. The Climate control switches from heat to Ice cold Ac. The power window's all work as does the Power sunroof. Telescoping steering wheel and cruise along with the Original Am/fm Cassette radio with Factory Mercedes Cd changer complete's the luxury of this car. For you collectors please look at the odometer and see how bright the needles are and the cluster is black and has no discoloration whatsoever. Its amazing. The wood is pristine with no cracks and its very glossy. Headliner carpet's and door panels are all like new. Mechanically the car is up to date and need's nothing. It has 4 new Michelin tires on factory wheels that are chrome. The Brakes are excellent all around.Car was just serviced with fresh oil change and new filters . Again for the true enthusiasts the Engine wire harness was replaced leaving you with no dried or cracked hoses in the harness. There is not much more I can see. The pictures speak for the car. If you see the under carriage you will see it still looks like new. No rusty anything. Also it still has the sticker on the Rear muffler showing its original state and when you look at the Engine compartment you will see it spotless and the original gold color still on all the fittings and ABS pump. The 400 E was the little brother of the 500 e. But it still held its own. With 275 HP and 295 ft lbs of torque it made this a luxury car that just screamed performance . It has a ton of power and its very smooth at idle . The transmission shifts flawless and the suspension is very tight. So if you looking for an amazing example of a 124 Sedan then this 400 E is it. With only 18 k miles and the car needing nothing makes it highly collectible and sought after. It was over 60 k when new and today its better then most of the car built .
