In 1961 mercedes -benz introduced the coupe variant of 22, which was presented in 1959 and also known as the w111 series.Whith this mode, Mercedes -Benz demonstrated what they were capable of.A stately automobile with luxurious apparent and all the imaginable comfort in short top class. It is fitted with rare four-speed manual transmition.The body is beautiful. Beautiful painted few years ago and still shows excellent. The cream- white color suits the German coupe very stylishly, and chrome is in optimal condition. There are simply no parts requiring improvement.the rubber moulding,windows,and original wheels with good tires are all in good condition to be admired. The interior has been fenomenally restored. The front seat leather are palomino and has been replaced the rear seats has been reconditioned. The carpets are in good condition and fit perfectly everywhere.The engine is straight six eith 2.2liters and delivering 118 hp.the engine is smooth and run beautifully. The 4 four speed transmission sheefts beautifully . The rear axle and suspension has been replaced to new.the brakes are good.I used the car only in summer days and has been kept in heated garage during the winter.
