Vehicle Details

Mercedes-Benz 230SL.  Estate Sale.  Same owner for 40 years.  Hard top and convertible top.  Just had the vehicle serviced with oil change, transmission service, coolant service (including new water pump and expansion tank), tie rods and steering damper.  Runs nice.  Body and bright work are in great shape with no dents, dings or rust.  Tires are brand new.  This car is drive-able today and will require some additional improvements over time to make it a show stopper….the wipers are currently inoperable, future gearbox replacement was recommended, valve cover gasket has small leak, rubber hoses in the engine compartment should be replaced eventually due to age, fuel lines near fuel pump should be updated as well.  This is an Estate Sale, but we did spend nearly $5,000 in August for a comprehensive service and detail.  I drove the car home and it’s a real looker.  Many compliments on the road.  Vehicle is in the Seattle area.  Buyer to arrange transportation.
