This 1973 Mercedes-Benz 240 D has undergone updates to both its exterior and interior, making it a unique project vehicle. The clean title and mileage of 163441 add to its overall appeal. This car is being offered for sale by the original owner, and is currently being used as a daily driver. Its classic white color is sure to turn heads on the road.This 1973 Mercedes 240D was special ordered by my grandfather, I am the second owner after him. Motor runs very well, and easily has another 150k miles in it. It has a working electric sunroof, only available by special order that year. AC is charged and working. Windows all work. Vinyl on doors is in good shape. Comes with original owners manual, first aid kit, Mercedes tool kit, and purchase information. I have some repair and maintenance records, not all. Leather on seats is in need of replacing. There are sheepswool covers on the front two seats. There is significant rust, pictured. This is all recent in the last 2 years after being located in Florida. Previously car was garaged in California, Colorado, and Oregon. The speedometer and gas Guage do not work. The fan belts need to be replaced. The neumatic locks work sometimes, but can be unlocked with key as well. Motor has been cared for, does not misfire.
