For sale is an extremely rare 1984 Mercedes Benz 500SL Euro convertible with the optional removable hardtop. These cars were imported by a couple different importers, with this one having been brought over from Struttgart, West Germany by Meridien Imports in 1984. The vehicle features European-only headlights, bumpers, and other features, as well as having quite a few things inside and outside the car that are written in German. The vehicle comes with a dolly for the convertible top, and an original owners manual, as well as the original road-side tools and caution triangles and other miscellaneous goodies that the prior owner has thrown in with the saleThe vehicle came from a collector that had it sitting in his garage for the last 13 years, and had not been driving it. Upon receiving the vehicle, we serviced the brake system and performed a full detail. The car is in immaculate condition, with a black convertible top that is in IMMACTULATE condition. The vehicle does start and run, but chokes up under acceleration. This could be due to a fuel hat issue, or just a fuel delivery issue.
