1984 Mercedes-Benz 280SE, this is a completely European Mercedes. I purchased the vehicle in 2014 and did extensive maintenance. so, all the components like engine, transmission, suspension etc is in perfect condition. however, even when i bought her the chassis was rotten because of corrosion. I welded a lot of new steel in place and tried to keep her on the road as long as possible but time won. the chassis is too far gone. when you purchase this car you can use every bit of it since its in very good condition except the body. the reason it looks the way it does right now is that i was planning to give her a new paint job but i found out the rot was to extensive to be able to save her. you buy in fact a perfect Mercedes without a body. the m110 engine has a new head gasket and there are plenty of new parts on this car. please contact me through eBay with any questions.Original vin number: WDB1260221A108684
