1974 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL ROADSTER is well preserved with 135,844 miles, an average of 2772 miles per year on the odometer. I’ve driven 7576 miles as a drive about in-town San Francisco car for 7 years. California car originally from Modesto. It has been garaged over the years, accounting for its practically rust-free condition. The silver green exterior paint is in very good condition. Very minor surface scratches and dings. The Mahogany interior has held up but could use some TLC. The driver’s side seat has a tear. The headrests are replacements. The visor clips are cracked. The dash is in great condition with no damage. Some cracks on the middle console. Hardtop headliner is intact. The convertible soft top is in fantastic, like-new condition. The 4.5 V8 runs great and the 3 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The idle control valve and ignition coil were replaced this year. Starts right up every day. The Alpine radio was installed sometime in the ‘70’s but the car comes with its original AM/FM Becker Radio and owner’s manual. Hard top rolling rack included.
