Today I am selling our 1984 Mercedes 300CD 2 door coupe. Mercedes started building the wonderful W123 series coupes in 1978. They already had a reputation for being extremely well built and for being very reliable, when Mercedes introduced the turbo charger in 1982. Now with the added horsepower they were also much more fun to drive in town and on the freeway.Mercedes only made 8007 of these coupes from 1978-1985 and many are still on the road today.Our 300CD was finished in "Classic White" ( MB color code 737) with beige leather interior.The leather was a rare option in 1984 for the W123 series. The body and the paint are in wonderful condition as the many pictures will show. The paint shines like on a much newer car.The interior is clean and even the original wood accents are in great shape. The seats are firm and the leather is still good. The headliner is in good condition and the carpets are clean.But the best thing about this car is the way it drives. It has always been maintained well and it shows. It always starts up, shifts quickly through all the gears and it has plenty of power and pick up. You can cruise at 85 miles per hour all day and still get 27 mpg of diesel.
