The W 124 series of cars by Mercedes Benz is the internal designation for their mid-sized layout between the years of 1984 and 1997. They were built in such configurations as estates, coupes, cabriolets and even a limousine. These cars were not only over engineered but were quite arguably the most rugged and dependable automobiles that Mercedes produced to date. Not to mention that the 4-Matic or AWD system was a Mercedes Benz design and build. These cars were not known for super performance but they were more than adequately powered. This particular S124 or the Estate cars as this car is the desired 7-passenger model with the rear-facing seat. It is finished in beautiful silver over blue leather interior. The car appears to have been owned by single family until 2018 splitting its time between a northern MI cottage and Virginia in the winter months. The car comes with all books and manuals, safety kit, tool kit and clean carfax. The interior is in excellent condition with the exterior showing very nicely with wear and tear equivalent to the mileage and age of the car. It has clearly been taken care of. I have had the pleasure of driving this car and it goes down the road very nicely with nothing rattling or making noise. The tires are in nice shape as are the brakes. Has had a recent fluid flush including oil, transmission and coolant. All windows are operational as is the moon roof. Lights, gauges etc...are also all working. The AWD system is also fully functional.
