1983 Mercedes Benz 300 SD Turbodiesel. I acquired this vehicle from the original family who purchased it new at the Mercedes Benz dealership in Denver, CO. It was maintained by the same Mercedes dealership for most of itβs life (records up to 180k). It had 198k miles on it when I purchased it and passed diesel emissions in Colorado at that time.
It has been very reliable and without major issues since I purchased it, current mileage is almost 210,000. I have had routine maintenance as well as tune ups done along the way and it starts up every time, also has an engine block heater. It has two sets of tires (summer and winter) both with good tread remaining. The AC and heat are working as are all electronics- door locks, radio, antenna, tape player, sunroof, power windows, power passenger mirror. The cruise control however is not working. It has 3 keys including one with the original leather key fob.
Interior is in overall good condition- small tear in drivers seat, small crack in dash, some wear and missing upholstery around the seat belts. Interior is all original and carpet underneath mats is very clean. Exterior is also in overall good condition- small rock chip in windshield on lower drivers side, rock chips on front below headlights, scratch on drivers side rear bumper and on passenger rear door.
Here is the work that has been done recently and since I purchased it:
Clean CO title in hand, sale will also include a Thule roof rack/crossbars. This car is all original- down to the first-aid kit and spare tire which looks like it has never been used. It does have normal wear and tear for a 30+ year old car but you will be hard pressed to find a better example of a well cared for classic Mercedes diesel!
