13k mile lovely 560sl clean title and Carfax and service history

This is a 1986 Mercedes 560sl finished in brilliant silver with burgundy interior and black convertible top.

The car only has 13,780 original miles ! Very clean with books and clean Carfax. Original owner purchased car new in May 1986 and was serviced at Mercedes dealer in Sept 1986 with 662 miles, in April 1991 the 2nd owner purchased the car who serviced it in Nov 1991 with 6,132 miles. The next service was done May 1997 with 9,326 miles. October 1999 a service was done with 10,554 miles, again in March 2001 with 11,323 miles. Next service performed on September 2001 with 11,495 miles. February 2002 service done with 11,606 miles. New owner was reported in January 2007 with 12,800 miles and another service done. I purchased the car in April 2014 with 13,600 miles, the owner was too old to drive. I had some service work done, the car was put in my 30 car collection i recently spent $2,500 on servicing and minor repairs. I have just replaced the ac compressor so now it blows cold and the car is a delight to drive. The convertible top is original and in excellent condition. The car just passed California smog. I have also changed the shocks with new Bilsteins and new brakes and rotors as they were original and i want the new owner not to have to do anything to the car.

This is a rare chance to buy an iconic 560SL with super low miles and great colours, the seats had sheepskins covers on them for most of their life and the leather is nice and soft, and the car had floor mats so the interior is really nice condition. Car is located West Los Angeles and is available for inspection but inspect before you bid, and i am willing to take to a local mechanic of you choice at your cost.
