About this vehicleThis 1982 Mercedes-Benz 380SL is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.Seller's NotesI purchased this beauty in October 2018 in non running condition. I bought it because I love the look of it even though many people told me to walk away from it. I thought it just needed head gaskets, Upholstery and some TLC. Boy was I wrong. I had to have the entire engine rebuilt. I also the A/C system completely replaced, the speedometer rebuilt along with replacing the wiring harness for the speedometer, almost the entire suspension system including shocks, most of the fuel system including a rebuild if the fuel injection system and the electronics for the fuel injection system. It is now a reliable, beautiful, fun to drive car. All it needs is a new owner who will appreciate it for what is is, a gorgeous 38 year old classic convertible Mercedes Benz convertible! Needless to say, my price, like so much in life is negotiable.
