1988 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 560SL Additional Info:

• This Mercedes 560SL has a sleek black paint color which gives the car an understated elegance. The paint and body are not perfect, but are in very nice condition considering the age. This car certainly turns heads and garners attention at the gas station.

• Mechanically, this 560SL is flawless. The engine starts instantly (warm or cold), the transmission shifts wonderfully, the suspension is tight, the steering is straight and true, and the brakes are firm and correct. I have driven this car on sixseparatetwo hour plus road trips, and it has performed spectacularly. I have another 560SL with 87k miles; if given the choice, I would pick this one for a long road trip.

• The tan leather interior is also quite nice and in pretty good shape. Every switch and button inside the interior works as it should--the windows, wipers, hazards, etc. The original radio was recently replaced with a classy aftermarket radio with high quality speakers that can connect to your phone and sounds terrific. See photos for exact condition. Hard and soft top both in great shape.

• This 560SL is FAST. It easily holds its own against our 2016 BMW X5. The 0-60 time is extremely impressive, and the power band revs beautifully all the way to redline. This car has some serious pick up and go.

• Heat, A/C, and cruise control all work--rare for these cars!

• Title is rebuilt due to a previous owner who was an older individual and collided with his garage door. The low tax value caused a rebuilt title. The car was repaired and looks/drivesnicely.
