1979 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series Additional Info:

Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC 5.0 non runner for restoration. I bought 3 years ago and stuck in garage with the idea of restoring but have decided to let it go. 777th car made out a run of 2,769 cars between the 5.0 and 500SLC as part of a effort to homologate the car for rally racing. This has a prototype motor that was detuned for latter models and has at least 300hp.Solid underneath. Restored cars are selling for $80-90K in Europe so this is a giveaway. Car has original paint, Tan leather interior, Euro bumpers and Headlights and super rare 15" Bundt wheels that were only available on the 6.3 and 6.9 models. Was a TX car for 15 years before I got it. New subframe installed in 2004
