- This 1982 Mercedes-Benz 380SEC is finished in Silver Blue Metallic with grey cladding over a blue leather interior and powered by a 3.8-liter V8 backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The car resided in Florida in the 1990s before coming to New York in the early 2000s, and was acquired by us in late 2018. This C126 shows 48k original miles and is offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Pennsylvania title.
- The car is finished in Silver Blue Metallic (930) contrasted by metallic grey lower cladding and dark blue pinstriping. The condition of the paintwork is shown up close in the gallery.
- Silver 14″ Bundt wheels are fitted with older Michelin X tires, and the car retains factory US-market lighting including rectangular sealed-beam headlights.
The cabin is trimmed in blue leather accented by burl wood trim on the dash, center stack, and doors. The car retains a factory padded 4-spoke steering wheel, gear selector, and Becker stereo.
Instrumentation includes an 85 mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, an economy meter, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. Approximately 48k miles are shown on the 6-digit mechanical odometer.
The 3.8-liter V8 was factory rated at 155 horsepower and 196 lb-ft of torque in the US market and sends power to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The Carfax shows no accidents or other damage from 1991 at 16k miles through 2002, when the car was serviced by Mercedes-Benz of White Plains, New York.
