1970 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Additional Info:
1970 Mercedes-Benz 280se convertible. This is not a TRUE CONVERTIBLE, this used to be a four door sedan.running and driving 1970 Mercedes 280se 2.8 chop top convertible, I drive it on the weekends, great for parades, home comings or weddings. A head turning, delight to drive. This vehicle was once a hard top sedan. The car has NO TOP, one could have one built, if one were so inclined. Many people ask me what do I do when it rains, I tell them it's like a motorcycle I don't take it out when it's raining, and we have an average of 228 sunny days a year.
New tires, belts, alternator, fuel pump, spark plug and wires, rotor and cap, condenser, points, and coil. ODO stopped working. Please don't contact me pretending to be a buyer, just to find out how the car was put together, I'm not the first person to have a car like this. You could buy a real soft top for 125,000 but why?The general public has no clue what real ragtops go for, they think it's just an cool old Mercedes, and ask if it's diesel. So you get the waves, people shouting thats a cool car, can I take a picture?
