Beautiful 1983 Mercedes Benz turbo diesel coupe barn find. Runs and drives great. Car has had only one owner since it was ordered brand new from germany. Has spent entire life in Houston. The paint has developed a nice patina and still holds a shine but the flat spots have scratches and sun fading common on such a classic car. The car has a small dent on the very rear driver's side corner panel but it is difficult to see in the pictures and in person as well as the passenger front fender under the trim which is difficult to see as well but I have included photos of the issue areas. Overall the car looks fantastic. The car has 4 new tires and new brake pads. The engine has a new air filter and starts right up and runs smooth. The interior is the least taken care of part of the car. The leather seats have some tears and the dashboard has several cracks as can be seen in the photos. The rear seat surfaces are in good shape however the top of the rear seat is torn and is showing the white cloth underneath. Drivers side windows have just stopped working. The car has it's original manual and service history. Wouldn't hesitate to drive the car across country. Would make an easy cosmetic restoration project or a cool daily driver with some history.
