1979 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Additional Info:

Rare Powder Puff 79 which is the last year of the big body Mercedes 300SD and this car has an astoundingly low 114k miles.
These turbo diesels easily see 400-500k miles. This sedan is the automatic with electric windows and sunroof.
Also has 4 disc brakes. 2019 I've had my mechanic in Costa Mesa go through the car, below is the info:
-New set of Doral tires
-New Bilstein shocks
-New motor mounts
-New sway bar links
-New transmission shifter bushing
-New idler arm kit
-New valve cover gasket
-New fog light lens and bulb
-Installed a used rebuilt transmission
With the new suspension and tires it drives very well. The transmission shifts as it should and the motor is very clean with replaced parts. Easily cruises at 65-70 on the freeway. 40 yr old car and should be treated as such. It is without a doubt a used as-is type of vehicle, but has potential and nostalgia. Body is Rough. There is rust and its coming through in some spots. Most all of the weather stripping needs to be replaced and the sunroof was attempted silicon'ed shut by the old owner. I never messed with it. I've loved this low mileage powder puff amg but im losing my parking space. All items listed as replaced or worked on will come with receipts. Pretty firm on price.
