Mechanically Solid 1981 Mercedes 300D - Low Miles.

1981 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Base Additional Info:

Only one owner prior to me. Car appears to have spent most of its life in Oklahoma. Compression checked. No oil blow-by. New rear axles, wheel bearings (front and back), and flex discs. Newer brake pads and rotors. Newer starter, 3-2 valves, and main vacuum line. The transmission does well, but needs some tuning as it does shift softer than I like. New front and rear suspension, including springs!
As with any 38 year old car, there are cosmetic issues and some rust. As with 90% of these cars, the A/C doesn't work and the climate control unit is non-functional...and irritatingly, the radio antenna no longer raises or lowers. Obviously sold as-is.
