1989 Mercedes 420 SEL, clean

1989 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series W126 lwb Additional Info:

I am selling my very clean 1989 420SEL. Last year, the timing chain guide rail failed while driving, which required both of the cylinder heads to be removed. As a result, the top end of the engine has been refreshed and does not consume oil.
The car starts and drives well, and after the photos were taken, I had 4 brand new tires installed since the tires in the photo were beginning to crack. It idles at 650-700 rpm and glides into reverse and drive, just like these classic Mercedes are known for. The windows and sunroof work, as do the heat and air conditioning.
There are some blemishes in the paint, the most noticeable is on the hood. But all in all, the paint shows well for being 30 years old.
