1994 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Additional Info:
Great condition, not new, but among the best examples. Sold as-is, do not expect a brand new car, it is not.Starts and drives great, no warning lights.
AMG Wheels, 225-45-17 front and 245-40-17 rear, gives it a great stance.
No rust, other than a small chip by the right tail light that has surface rust.
Clear sidemarks, euro look.
As with any other car of this vintage, there are imperfections. The engine does not smoke at all, starts and runs fine. Goes through all the gears, but shifts a little hard into overdrive. It has a minor oil leak. There is a small tear on driver's seat bolster, I have a piece of the original MB-Tex to patch it, but the new owner will have to do it.
AC works fine, dash is immaculate, unlike most Mercedes of that era. Has an aftermarket stereo, luggage rack.
It has the original tool kit and even the first aid kit. I recently had the windows tinted, light tint in front windows to be legal, and darker in the rear to protect the interior and any cargo when parked in public places.
It has the rare cargo net.
The rear wiper works, all windows work, vacuum system for door locks work fine. All lights work.
A new Mercedes-Benz $200 battery was recently installed.
Very reliable, however, you are buying an old cheap car, as-is, no warranty of any kind. I suggest you hire someone for an independent inspection, it costs $200-$300 and give you a report.
I do not see any reason why this nice wagon won't drive you back anywhere, but again, it is an old car and anything can happen. (Even new cars break). I drive it with total confidence on weekends.
THE HOOD PAD NEEDS REPLACING, COMMON IN ALL THESE CARS. I HAVE A NEW ONE THAT WILL GO WITH THE CAR.
