Selling my 1993 Mercedes 300SE with 345,567 miles
Black sedan with black Interior.
I am the 2nd owner. The Autocheck says 1 owner but my dad was the first owner, having purchased the car from a bank in Pennsylvania. I drove the car for many years prior to having the title transferred to me. We invested a lot of time and money into this car over the years. Maintained at independent shops in Philadelphia and in coastal Georgia; any major issues handled at dealer.
I am a Mercedes enthusiast (have owned several e classes, most recently a 2004 E55 AMG (included in pictures) and a 2003 SL500). I always aim to keep my cars in excellent condition. In May of 2017, I had the paint, bodywork and interior partially restored on this car. I had intended to keep the car for longer, but I don’t have the time to see through the needed repairs (discussed below) and need to purchase a truck for work. This car originally cost around $75k; while it is not worth anywhere near that now, repairs on an S class are always considerably more than lesser cars in the Mercedes line-up.
In late September, I noticed an oil leak, so on 10/3/18, I had my shop in Savannah perform an inspection to determine what work/repairs the car needs. Their results are included in one of the listing photos. In essence, I've had the pre-purchase inspection completed for you.

2 accidents (one with contact, one without): The Autocheck lists the 2 extremely minor incidents the car was involved in. In 2006, an ATV cut me off in Chester County, PA. The ATV crashed but did not contact the car and the car sustained no damage. In 2008, I was driving in Atlanta and a Lexus LS clipped my back bumper when exiting a parking lot; both cars were moving under 10 mph at the time. The bumper was repaired and recently was again repainted in 2017 with the partial restoration.
I’ve tried to give the best description I can of what the car needs and am happy to answer any questions. If you are interested send me a message and I will give you my phone number/email address and we can talk.
