1985 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Heated Seats Additional Info:

This is a special 1985 380SL Roadster Convertible.
This car was ordered with Heated front seats, power passenger side mirror, external temp gauge
This has the double timing chain, v8 3.8L motor. 1985 was the last year for the 380sl before it was replaced by the 560sl
The car has been registered and driver in nice weather since 2012. There is a bit of rust on the very front of the fenders by the hoods. The wheel wells and all other places it typically will rust are clean. The floors are also rust free. The car has served me well whenever i wanted to go golfing two bags fit well in the trunk. Took it on a hour long road trip last weekend and it had no problems.
The brakes are good, going over bumps the car is very tight and not loose.
The mb tex interior is in good shape, could use a little dye here and there but very clean for the age.
Has 4 very good tires, they were replaced about 3 years ago. The windshield is original and has no cracks. A couple cracks are present in the dashboard.
The radio is the original becker and it sounds ok for the age.
The power door locks work and so do the windows, wipers, lights, turn signals.
The thermostat was also replaced about the same time as the tires and the cars temperature holds nicely. The fuel pump and accumulator were recently replaced.
I have a reprinted Mercedes manual for it, as well as the tool to open the top
The softop is black and very usable, eventually it will need to be replace but it doesn't leak and the windows are not cracked. I do not have a hardtop at the moment but i am looking for one for the car. I never drove it when you had to put the top up. The odometer doesn't work although i dont think it gets more than a few hundred miles a year put on it.
