11972 Mercedes 250C – 2.8 L Twin Carb, Automatic Transmission (on the floor)

Cream exterior / Black bucket seat interior

Runs and drives pretty good but carbs need synced. Trans also shifts a little hard but don’t know much about these - the kick down arm was removed for engine work and may not be back in the correct position.

Purchased from San Diego CA area with blown head gasket and rebuilt transmission. Upon inspection for the head gasket replacement it was discovered that water/coolant had sat in the engine and rusted the bores and camshaft lobes. A parts car (1970 250C) with approximately 98,000 miles was purchased for the engine and spare parts. The long block was used from the 1970 250C with all other parts either from the original or new.
