1980 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series AMG Additional Info:
I bought this from the long time owner(he bought it in 1990, from a good friend who imported when new). The car had been sitting for awhile, so I did some things to get it in shape. I really didn't plan on selling it so soon, but I inherited a 1965 Corvette from a relative and since I can't have two classic cars I choose to sell the benz and keep the vette. This 1984 500sel AMG is a really cool looking car, the previous owner told me the car was imported with the body kit and suspension and the penta wheels, but he changed them to the aero1 several years ago. The car was painted several years ago, but still has a very good shine. There is a few scratches and a few small dings, nothing that PDR can't take care of, the wheels are also very nice with no damage or rash. The car overall shows very well! The euro vin#WDB1260371A025537, the odometer dosen't work so it shows 88955, the car runs, stops, steers good, but it's not perfect. I did the following things since I got it, New a/c compressor, master cylinder, idle control module, vac pump for locks, blower motor for ac, new pass seat switch, updated back of seats, and I changed ALL the fluids. The interior is very nice for a car this age, the dash is MINT! This is such a neat old car that I did alot of stuff to,and have alot of money invested in. I am also including an AMG brochure, extra set of mint euro headlights, some extra tires, basicly everything I gathered for the project. This is a 34 year old car, so have realistic expectations of it, of course it is sold as is where is! I am currently waiting on my title from the State of Texas, they told me 2-4 weeks, so keep that in mind.
