The 170 V would be delisted in September 1953, and in July 1953 the manufacturer replaced the existing 170 S with the reduced specification 170 S-V.MechanicalThe car runs and drives great. Last registered 2015. The engine is a flat 4 CYL runs great. 4 speed manual transmission shifts as it should, the clutch is good. Brake cylinders and master sleeved by White Post (Brass sleeves) on the East Coast. Wheels sand blasted, painted, with new tubes and Firestone's. 6V Alternator, the old generator comes with the car. 6V Fuel Pump. The car has been well maintained and cared for.Exterior The exterior is driver quality, very complete car. All glass is intact as well as the trim. The engine bay, trunk, undercarriage are very solid. The body and frame are very straight and solid. InteriorIt interior is all there and complete. The dash is in great shape. Tube radio still works!
