The auxilary hardtop is in excellent condition.

Seldom used, the black soft top is also in excellent condition.
Drop the top and cruise, as Mercedes-Benz intended. You were someone if you owned one of these cars in the late 1980s and you are someone if you own it today, albeit at a fraction of the original sticker price.
Under the hood is the reliable original and maintained aluminum 5.6 litre V8 engine. This powerplant recently had the timing chain replaced at 104,000 miles. The engine compartment is clean and detailed, with factory accessories throughout. The insulation is intact along with the original sheetmetal throughout the firewall, core support and inner fenders. The original identification plates and decals are also intact.
Open the doors to German luxury.
The interior seating was recently reupholstered and is in excellent condition. The door panels also show well left and right.
The dash wears a dash cap, presumably for some cracking. The factory gauges are functional along with the original AM/FM stereo cassette.
The original 1st aid kit is intact along with the spare alloy wheel/tire and jacking equipment.
Closer inspection of the exterior will confirm correct body panel fitment and a quality black paint finish throughout. Please look closely through our detailed photos.
The R107 chassis is a perennial favorite among Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts for good reason. These cars never go out of style. The 560SL is a superb example to own and this is one of the better ones.
The 15-inch factory alloy wheels wear Michelin whitewall radial tires all around, sized at 225/60R15 all around.

The undercarriage is original and intact throughout. The flooring and chassis are in very good condition as is the spare tire well and jacking points along the rocker panels. There is some minor corrosion on the original muffler and exhaust tips, otherwise exceptionally solid.
