Purchased new by Mr. Wade Harrison April 16, 1982 at World Wide Motors Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mr. Harrison was a prominent business owner in Atticus, Indiana. He also purchased a new 300TD the same day. The300SDwas owned by Mr. Harrison until mid 2017.
Finished is the highly desired and very rare color of Blue-Green metallic. This sedan came with all the standard features Mercedes offered in this flagship model as well as the optional leather upholstery and sliding roof.
It is obvious this Mercedes was always garage and pampered.
There has been one quality repaint. NO RUST.
All the chrome, stainless, panels, trim work show nearly new. This is a very fine example.
The interior shows very little wear, if any. It is simply scrumptious.
There is a slight hairline crack on each of the dash speakers, right at the corner starting to form and the rear interior deck lid show some fading. Neither of which I would touch.
The first aid kit is still in place.
The AC blows ice cold and heat blows hot.
All electronics work as they should.
I recently drove this car for 2 weeks while my new S class was in the body shop. People just went crazy over it. I had no idea the attention this car would bring.
It is ridiculously solid and flies down the freeway.
All service books, owners manual and window sticker are included.
Fully serviced, new tires, detailed and ready to hit the road.
And please know, this car has flaws..... it is very well preserved but not perfect!
