1961 Mercedes-Benz Other Additional Info:

1961 Mercedes 180D titled in Arizona. The original diesel motor and manual transmission was removed and a newly built Chevy 350 motor and rebuilt automatic Chevy200 4R 4 speed transmission installed. The motor is bored .030 over and has high compression heads (10:!) and has a mild cam. The diesel full tank was completely cleaned and converted for gas. It has newer paint (Good at 20 feet), new tires and new front brakes & pulls to the right. Wipers work, oil pressure gauge works, fuel gauge works. Electric pusher fan installed.

Temperature control gauge/sensor and a battery voltage indicator is in the stock dash instrument cluster. The floor pan has some rust issues and rather than cut it out and install new metal work. The frame was cut somewhat to provide clearance for the V8 motor. . No power steering or air cond.

Floor shifter is a B&M cable type. Tranny hump sheet metal custom made and welded in. Driver side exterior door opens from outside but not from inside. Seat condition is good. Cheap seat covers over back of bucket seats and rear seat. Carpet is only base carpeting. Dual exhaust
