For sale 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450SLC with 86234 miles. I bought this car a few months ago as a project. The car has new set of Toyo tires T215/70R14 on original wheels. The interior is in a great condition. The previous owner told me that he thought there was some excessive heat coming from the engine so he bought another 450SL with 80k miles and installed the engine and transmission into his car. He never completed the installation and a couple of years later I purchased the car. I think that there is nothing wrong with the original engine and transmission which I included in this sale. For the safety I disconnected the fuel pump to prevent accidental fuel spill. The battery is almost new and I can crank the engine. My original plan was to finish the installation and get the car running. Then I wanted to clean the original engine and transmission and bring it back to the factory specs. I wanted to clean and repaint the engine bay and make it like a show car but due to some financial issues I'm forced to sell it. I'm also advertising this car on craigslist in Las Vegas area.
