1990 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series 560SEL Additional Info:
Runs and drives great, the engine is very strong, the frame is solid and no rust other than the area mentioned below. It will start up every time with no issues and feels solid going down the highway at autobahn speeds. Low miles for the year and generally in good condition.
Windows, power seats, sunroof, antenna etc are all working as they should. The paint looks good as well.
To my knowledge these are the only issues:
- It idles a bit rough, but I will include all the parts for a tune up (distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires, and fuel filter)
- The rear calipers are seized
- There is a leak from the passenger side rear accumulator for the hydraulic self leveling suspension
- rust spot on the very front of each front fender (see pictures, the worst side is pictured)
- There is another small leak somewhere around the power steering pump area, looks like a hose
- the front speakers aren't really working but the rear ones work fine
- cruise control doesn't seem to be working
- the heat didn't seem to get too hot but I didn't test it thoroughly, unsure about AC
- could use a good cleaning
All around its an amazing car, I just don't have the time or money it deserves to make it perfect.Send me a message if you have any more questions!
