Beautiful preserved, reliable classic. Just in time for summer!

1976 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 450SL Additional Info:

For sale by private seller at *NO RESERVE* is my beautiful and iconic 1976 R107 450SL in Brilliant Red Metallic with a dark brown soft top. Two Owner Car. I purchased this for nearly $30,000 from the original owner in 2006. That gentleman bought it new 9-26-76. With it's nearly perfect original paint, you will be staring in absolute lust for 20 minutes before even opening the drivers door and hearing that 4.5L V8 roaring to life!
I have done my best to outline everything I can think of regarding this car. In addition to all of the below, this past August I spent over $2,000 at my local dealer putting 4 new tires and front brake pads/rotors on, A/C service, and fluid flushes. There was probably nothing wrong with the old tires as they looked new, but they were 8 years old and I decided to replace them.
This car is very reliable. It has never not started. Thanks to Mechanical Fuel Injection and not the early computer controlled crap of the 1980s, you will never have to worry about expensive repairs.
*Clear Title - NEVER wrecked. Please see attached picture of title for mileage verification. I have put less than 1000 miles on this car over my entire ownership.- Engine is in perfect shape, does not skip a beat and makes full power. Not even a hint of belt squeal. Perfect oil pressure goes straight to 4.5 as soon as the engine is started.- Transmission shifts smoothly. It had one fluid change in 2006 and I haven't touched it since as it does not leak.- All electronics function properly including the power antenna.- Perfect dashpad, no cracks- Fabulous exterior brightwork- Paintwork is original to the best of my knowledge, is absolutely stunning and was NEVER left out or driven in harsh elements- Beautiful interior trim and plastics (refurbished in 2010)- Reupholstered seats and headliner in 2010. Leather is still super soft and was conditioned regularly by my high-line detailer- Excellent hardtop and soft-top condition with no tears.- Interior carpets are nearly perfect- AC is ice cold after the car is running for just a few minutes- Original un-used spare tire and jack kit- Original Radio and speaker system works great. Radio was rebuilt in 2005.
This was my "Main Line" car to cruise in on beautiful sunny summer weekends. For those of you not familiar with this area in the Philadelphia Suburbs, it is a prestigious area to live in and you will see lots of beautiful cars like this driving around.
