1978 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Additional Info:

1978 Mercedes 300D Diesel -81,000 actual original miles. Original condition. Runs and drives really well. 100% road worthy/Reliable, 100% passes safety and I/M.
Body is straight with an exception of a small wrinkle in the driver’s side fender. paint is original, clear coat has faded off the top, although it is neatly buffed and polished, has a nice patina look to it, no holes, moldings and trim all there and complete. *Some surface rust, some of it has been treated with "Zero rust" NO rust holes, in solid condition. Tires are in new condition.
Interior is in overall good condition. All electrical works. Power windows, sunroof, locks, lights, temperature control. etc. Newly reupholstered seats, very comfortable, carpet in good shape with the exception of a few tears. Only update is an alpine CD/Bluetooth enabled deck, with kicker series CS speakers, front and back. (no holes or modifications were made to fit these) subwoofer and amp.
Engine and transmission are in excellent working condition. only 81,000 miles. Rides like a cloud at 80MPH. No problem reaching high speeds. Average MPG 26

List includes --New rebuilt injectors with Monark nozzles, New glow plugs, fuel lines, recently adjusted valves, valve cover gasket, air filter, both diesel filters, rebuilt vacuum pump, new ATE brake master cylinder, new brake lines, rebuilt calipers, new OEM Benz brake pads and rotors. repacked wheel bearings, new SACHS front and rear shocks, new tie rods, recently flushed transmission oil. Always Rotella 15W-40 oil every 3000 miles. lots more not listed. Equipped with A/C but not working currently needs new compressor clutch.
